Henrietta Wood Foote Brewer
July 13, 1842 – March 17, 1903

Sermons the past two Sundays have focused on the early history of Trinity.

This morning, we remember another “saint” with a connection to Trinity, Watertown. Today’s sermon focuses on the remarkable story of Henrietta Wood Foote Brewer, a real pioneer who made a huge impact in the lives of thousands when she moved to Helena, Mont., with her husband, the Rt. Rev. Leigh Richmond Brewer, a former rector of Trinity, whose portrait is attached to the pulpit.

We are enriched by our forebears who lived holy and virtuous lives. “O blest communion, fellowship divine! We feebly struggle, they in glory shine.”
