The following school supplies were collected and taken to the Urban Mission for distribution:

15 backpacks; 11 pencil cases; 40 folders; 19 pairs of scissors; 8 packets of paper; 35 boxes of crayons; 20 highlighters; 66 erasers; 100+ pens; 350+ pencils; 89 notebooks; 13 binders; 58 glue sticks; 10 boxes of markers; 2 compasses; 2 rolls of tape; 2 boxes colored pencils, and 3 bottles of hand sanitizer.

A $50 cash donation was also received and sent along to the Mission. All donations were greatly appreciated and much needed, as the Urban Mission didn’t get nearly enough donations to give to everyone for the backpack pickup dates.

Also in August, 71 items and $47 were collected for Watertown Urban Mission’s food pantry. Our 4th Sunday collection Aug. 26 raised $56 for the Urban Mission’s critical needs program.

Thank you to everyone!
